A Moderator will:

Improve  accuracy, (this is why they are not allowed for some target shooting)

It will protect the hearing of the shooter, and that of others nearby.

It will suppress the noise thus reducing the effect on other wildlife

It will cut-down recoil and “muzzle flip”

It will dramatically reduce the “muzzle signature” i.e. flash and dust

It will help a new shooter not to anticipate the recoil and “bang”

Muzzle Brakes

There are times when you don't need the added weight of a moderator, but you would still like the reduced recoil and muzzle flip that a moderator gives. You also need to protect the threading on your rifle barrel. Why not get a muzzle brake?

Produced to an exacting design these muzzle brakes can be threaded to the same pitch as your existing moderator, and screw on and off easily.
